Enea is supplying a platform for an embedded control system to Volvo Powertrain Corporation. The system is based on the Real-time operating system OSE, which was developed by Enea.
Enea is cooperating with Volvo Powertrain Corporation on the development of the embedded Real-time system, which is based on components already supplied by Enea's subsidiary OSE Systems.
- The order is a breakthrough for our technical expertise in this sector, says Ola Berglund, Enea's CEO.
Advanced embedded systems are currently used in very diverse areas ranging from automotive systems to telecoms. The common denominator is the need for systems with robustness and reliability. It is vital that safety-critical systems do precisely what is expected of them, unnoticed - in vehicles, mobile telephones or aircraft.
Enea Realtime's consultants in Gothenburg are already fully active in the project.
- Being involved in a project at the leading edge of the technology is very exciting, says Henrik Pihlgren, regional manager in Gothenburg, Sweden.
